How to submit Artwork for Jersey Logos

Artwork for Jersey Logos must meet the following specifications:

  • vector artwork only
  • no embedded bitmaps
  • saved in SVG format
  • size: 100% (actual size)
  • fonts converted to outlines
  • emailed to info@xtsc.ca

Any submitted artwork that does not conform to these specs will require additional charges for XTSC to convert.

How do I create a vector image?

Some programs that can create vector artwork in SVG format include: Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, Inkscape and Macromedia Freehand. (NOT recommended: Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Paint).

How do I convert a bitmap to a vector?

Many drawing programs provide handy "tracing" features to approximate bitmaps into vectors, but this may not produce a high-quality result. Ideally, a bitmap would have to be manually re-drawn as vector shapes. Some find the Inkscape tracing tutorial helpful.

What if I need more help?

  2. XTSC may be able to convert your bitmap artwork to vector art, but this will incur additional charges.
