Second Kicks is a non-profit charitable sports organization with a mission to collect and distribute used soccer uniforms and equipment to needy communities in Canada and around the world. We are having a Soccer Uniform Drive for Second Kicks. It will kick off on Tuesday November 1st, 2011. For the month of November, ING DIRECT Downtown Café location has been invited to take part in this uniform drive. What we need: any used and unwanted, clean, uniforms including soccer shirts, shorts, socks, shin pads and shoes brought to the ING Direct Toronto Cafés (221 Yonge or 111 Gordon Baker). Any year, any sizes for either children or adults are welcome. Uniforms will be sorted by size and colour and shipped to other adults, youth and children around the world who share a love of soccer. By donating your unwanted uniforms, you?ll be making an important contribution to healthy living, sportsmanship and community spirit that benefits people of all ages. A portion of our donations be sent to Haiti specifically to continue our relationship and help out. Please see the attachment for more info about Second Kicks and what they do.
